The Eldoraigne community enclosed by Saxby, Ruimte, Piet Hugo, Willem Botha and Old Johannesburg Road dreamed of a future where families can feel safe again, and old-world values are embraced. The Eldo Heights Security (EHS) Community was established from this dream towards the end of 2019.
The EHS community has the vision to promote, advance and protect a safe and secure environment for its residents through an intensified sense of Community.
The Mission of the EHS Community is to meet the following objectives:
• Operating and monitoring a Home-owners Association and Security Community in the suburb;
• Liaising with the relevant authorities to ensure that the Community complies with all applicable health regulations, by-laws and other laws that may affect the Community;
• A safe and secure environment where incidents in the Community are managed and reported;
• Preventative measures to minimize incidents and limit contact crimes as far possible;
• Cost-effective use of equipment and technology to assist in the abovementioned objective;
• Maintain the highest possible member participation rates;
• Implementing and enforcing rules of conduct in respect of the Home-owners Association and the Community;
• Promoting a non-discriminating community that cares for one another and residents feel they belong in the neighbourhood.
The EHS Community Committee intends to establish a the Non-Profit Company that will be managed in such a way that it creates an environment in which the EHS Community can be productive and effective. The Vision of the EHS Community Committee is to promote, advance and protect a safe and secure environment for its residents through an intensified sense of Community.
